Who it is for

- 3The teacher assesses the learner's level in the trial.
- 4Regular supervised, recorded lessons begin on the days you choose.
Important facts
- Every lesson is one-to-one.
- Every lesson is supervised and recorded.
- Parents of children receive monthly PDF progress reports.
When to choose it
Choose online classes when you want a consistent Quran teacher in Australia without travel, at times that fit school and work.
- Timezones
- AEST/AEDT (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart), AEST all year (Brisbane), ACST/ACDT (Adelaide, Darwin) and AWST (Perth)
- Scheduling lessons
- Most Australian families book lessons straight after school, between about 3:30pm and 6:30pm, or on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Because Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia do not change their clocks, we confirm your state when booking so the lesson stays at the same local time all year.
- Getting in touch
- Message us on WhatsApp or email. We reply to agree a trial time in your local time.
Fitting lessons around the Australian week
Australian school days usually finish mid-afternoon, which leaves a natural window for a short lesson before dinner. Many parents prefer the same slot on two to five weekdays so the lesson becomes part of the afternoon routine, like homework or sport. Weekend morning lessons suit families with busy weekday schedules or children who are tired after school.
Daylight saving is different in each state
New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT, Tasmania and South Australia move their clocks in October and April. Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia do not. When you book the trial, tell us your state or city. Lesson times are kept in your own local time, so a change of clocks in another part of the world does not move your child's lesson.
Learning during school holidays
Australian school terms are broken by holidays several times a year. Families often keep lessons going over the holidays because it is easier to hold on to reading fluency than to rebuild it. If you travel, lessons can continue anywhere with a stable internet connection, or you can tell us in advance and we pause them.
What parents see
Every lesson is one-to-one, delivered through our own MAKTAB learning platform, supervised by our floor administration team and recorded. Parents of children receive a monthly PDF progress report, so you know what was covered and what to practise.

Watch
Quran Reading
Noorani Qaida with Tajweed, Lesson 1: The Single Letters (Mufradat), Part A
The first video in our Noorani Qaida series. It introduces the single Arabic letters (Mufradat) one at a time, the very first step towards reading the Quran, and gives parents and beginners a clear feel for how our teachers explain each stage before you book a free trial. Parents can watch it with their child to see what the very first stage of reading looks like and how letters are introduced one by one. In live lessons the same first stage is taught one-to-one, with the teacher listening to the learner and correcting pronunciation straight away, so mistakes do not become habits. When the single letters are secure, learners move on to joined letters, vowel marks and, in time, fluent Quran reading.
